Hearse archival, NOT for sale:
Hello, up for bids is a 1969 Cadillac Superior Landau Hearse. The frame is very nice, rockers are solid, under carriage is solid, all glass good except windshield has a small rock ding about center ways toward the dash but no spider webbing from it. Rolls easy and does not have any frozen wheels for transport. Interior is complete but needs TLC. Has 49,787 original miles. Has dual exhaust with what looks like Thrush mufflers. Does have rust hole in driver’s side floor board about 4″ x 5″ about where your heel would rest (see pic). Bottom dog legs of front fenders needs repair which is common to all Caddy’s of these years (see pic). Rest of car is pretty much rust free. Comes with Bill of Sale and all the receipts that was spent on the engine compartment back in ’92/’93 (previous owner had the engine rebuilt then it has sat for years). Has only 2,500 miles on the rebuilt engine as previous owner did this when it had 47,271 miles according to receipts. Has a 472 engine with an Edelbrock Performer Carb. Also have original owner’s manual for the carb. When I got it I never had time to do anything with it. I put a battery in it and found the starter and fly wheel is bad. I can turn the engine by hand but the starter just grinds when you try to start it so I have never heard it run. The gas tank is missing (I have it but it is too bad to use). Other than that the car is complete other than front V emblem and would make a good project or for someone that just wants a cheap hearse.
