This 1978 Superior Buick Precision Crown Landau Hearse was last seen for sale for $3000.00 in Pensacola, Florida.
Here’s a rare 1978 Superior Buick Precision Crown landau end loader hearse. This Buick hearse was originally from a funeral home in Texas. Only 63 of these Superior Buick hearses were build in 1978. I have owned this car since 2000 where it has been garage kept. It came from a Texas funeral home. There were only 63 of these built in 1978. The top is nice and the body is rust free with exception of minor rust on driver front side pillar caused by a leaking windshield weather seal. The paint is good, but not show quality. Originally it was white. The interior is nice. The “business” end has some bumps and bruises where the cargo was loaded and unloaded. Comes with a cot hook. Needs AC work; it does work, but looses charge. Tires are old and should be replaced.
The 403 CID Oldsmobile engine (factory equipped) runs fine. This Buick hearse drives smooth. Brakes are good. Extra parts include fiberglass fender skirts. Has factory optional wire wheel covers. Comes with a factory service manual and owner’s manual.
