1958 Cadillac series 75 funeral hearse. Built by Miller Meteor coach works. Rare futura landaulet model. 45000 original miles. Never driven more than a mile by anyone other than the original owners, the Jones Funeral Home in pa. Last inspection and registration is from 1981. Body on restoration of the frame, complete suspension, brakes, exhaust, wheels, tires, motor, transmission and rear end, wiper motor, starter motor, generator, carburetor, radiator and heater system is complete. No expense was spared on the mechanical restoration. (we are waiting for the gas tank repair to be completed). The rocker panels and lower doors and rear quarters had some rust from the pa winters. The entire body was bead blasted and zinc primed, the left and right side complete rocker panels have been professionally replaced as have the inner rear wheel wells. Pictures show the rear quarters still need some repairs. Some minor rust on the door bottom lips. No other rust damage. Complete interior is original and in remarkable condition for the age. Front seat cover and carpet will need to be replaced. Top dash pad cover is nice but the original padding has disintegrated. I have a picture of the coach in front of the funeral home in October of 58, original owners manual, electrical diagram, letters from miller meteor to the funeral home and bill of sale!!!!. Very very original example of a one of a kind coach. Most cars produced by M&M in 58 were limo-style or full landau versions. This futura landaulet is very complete and original.
